RK Group was established by the visionary leader, Late Mr. Ramesh Khimji Chudasama in 1987 establishing R.K. Chudasama Ltd. This was resulted after a thorough research on the Tanzanian market focusing on the economic drivers. He decided to set−up a business scope which included logistics involving importation and distribution of new and used Scania trucks and trailers, their spare parts, lubricants, tires and batteries from Europe, Asia and Middle East. R.K. Chudasama Ltd further incorporated commercial warehousing and real estate to complete the logistical cycle.

In respect to its diversity, RK Group expanded and ventured into electrical home appliances and agricultural machineries and established a business popularly known as R.K. Technotronics Ltd in 2007.The business specifically supported the economic back bone of Tanzania in agro−business development. The company is planning to expand its portfolio to include solar energy equipment and back−up batteries to contribute to the Go Green initiative.

With the ever rising population of Dar−es−salaam City, it became apparently important that domestic real estate is vital. It was necessary to have shop premises and housing. R.K. Group established R.K. Towers Ltd in 2008 to accommodate the real estate gap.

Health and health products is fundamental and uncompromised. The next generation in the family have kept the same focus and identified a need in healthcare with three family members professionally qualified in Pharmaceutical industry leading to the formation of R.K Pharmaceuticals (TZ) Ltd. The company has abided by the need and is at verge of expansion of medical stores national−wide.
